The UAB-Red Mountain Writing Project and New York City Writing Project has been afforded an opportunity to take on action theory to utilize teacher networks to discuss, create, and expand teacher learning and practices about what elements are involved in crafting meaningful writing assignments for students across all content areas and grade levels. These pics are of both writing projects presenting at the Annual Meeting (2017) of the National Writing Project.
This blog was created to share information about language, literacy, educational justice, neurodiversity, equity, and education. Through my experiences as a career educator since 1997, I have understood the immense importance of continuous learning for students, parents, and educators alike. Our children deserve the absolute best we have to provide. This means we must continuously inquire, advocate, stay curious, and commit to improving our praxis.
